Announcing: The Candoo Good Project – Partnering For Community Impact
What if doing good became part of how we do business every day?
At Candoo, our mission’s always been simple: to have fun and make life simpler. We clean homes, mow lawns, and care for every corner of the spaces people call home. But now, we’re taking that same spirit beyond the backyards and into the heart of the very neighbourhoods we call our own.
Introducing The Candoo Good Project, our new initiative with one clear purpose: To do good in our neighbourhoods and maximise community impact through our cleaning and lawn mowing services across Auckland and all throughout New Zealand (very soon).
So what’s it all about?
We reckon a little good can go a long way. Through the Candoo Good Project, we’re using our hands, hearts, and hustle to give back — supporting local causes here in Auckland and throughout New Zealand, helping out with home cleaning and lawn and garden maintenance where it’s needed, and celebrating the good already happening right here in our backyard.
And we’re not just talking about it — we’re putting the mowers (and money) where our mouths are.
Every year, we’re pledging $100,000 worth of free home cleaning, lawn mowing and more lawn & garden maintenance care to help local families, community heroes, and socio-economic organisations doing good. Put it simply, we want to sprinkle a bit of Candoo magic to put a few more smiles on your faces.
How it works is simple.
We’ll be partnering with awesome community-based organisations and we’ve already got a couple in the works like Buttabean Motivation (BBM), based in South Auckland who help people achieve their personal fitness and health goals as well as Franklin Hospice who specialise in providing vital care to patients and families with illnesses. It’s our way of giving back because put simply: you can’t pour from an empty cup.
Why are we doing it, you may ask?
Community is important to us at Candoo. It’s the people in our community who keep us ticking so it’s our way of giving back to those legends. We’re not just here to make homes shine through home cleaning and lawn & gardening services. We’re here to help people feel good, too.
So that’s the plan. A little good, done the Candoo way: with heart, hustle, and a healthy dose of fun. We can’t wait to share the joy, the stories, and the difference we’ll create together.
